Red Youth
The Red Youth are the community of youth & young adults within Central Canaan Christian Church.
It is the beginning of a new era that paves the way for a new breed of youth. The Red Youth signifies the blood of Christ over this select group. The blood of Christ sets aside the Lord’s forgiven to live a superior way of life. This life is what distinguishes the Red Youth.
Age groups range from 13-19 years of age & 20-35 years, they are broken down further into groups of shared interests & common skills and abilities. We believe that the inter-relation of young people based on shared interest, age, & gender can heighten the growth of a young person & aid in difficulties that these years bring with them.
Among the groups of interest are:
- A Creative Arts Team includes and is not limited to a Drama & Arts group.
- A Media Team that works with visual technology and event production that includes everything from worship sercices to concerts.
- An Events Coordination Team for the main purpose of organization of events & fund raising.
- An Evangelistic Team, organized to share Jesus Christ with any that will listen.
As the Red Youth continues to grow, additional groups of interest will be organized to cater to the needs & desires of the youth.
